We have moved on to the letter 'H' on our phonics wall and a few days ago made a healthy food pyramid to look at some category types we hadn't talked about before. Bubble has sorted foods into fruits and vegetables but never into healthy and not so healthy food groups and I thought the classic food pyramid was a great way to show how some foods are for 'anytime' and others were only 'sometimes' foods.
WE USED:
* cardboard
* marker
* picutres/stickers of different types of food
* glue

Sorry about the grainy pictures, my camera was running low on battery power!
This is a great idea for learning about healthy and unhealthy foods. It sounds like it was fun for Bubble too. I've included your post on my weekly favorites here: http://play2grow.blogspot.com/2011/02/weekly-favorites-for-february-6-2011.html
