Puzzle Piece Fishing

Bubble is back to Kindy and I wanted a new game to play with Squeak during our one on one time today. We had a few puzzle boards with pieces missing so last night I used some super strong glue to attach magnets to the left over pieces to make a fishing game. Squeak literally played with this the whole time we were home; she transfered them from one bowl to another, we named each picture as she 'caught' them, and did some receptive and expressive games to teach her some new words and practice known ones.

WE USED:

* puzzle pieces
* super glue
* small magnets
* magnetic fishing rod
(ours was from a game but they would be easy to make using string/twine, a stick and magnet if you don't already have one).

Attaching the magnets with glue was very simple and then they were left overnight to dry completely.

Squeak played many games with these over and over again.

  1. I love the simple fun things like this! It's just that I never think of them when I need them!
