I will begin with a neon warning - our Count Down Activity #12 is messy. Depending on the grot factor of your children (mine rank as level 3 and level 10 respectively) you may get varied levels of messy, but I think overall the likelihood of a hose or shower being required are high. But you know what they say, never let mess stand in the way of fun! :-D
WE USED:
* shaving foam
* large tub
* food colouring mixed with a drop of essence (we used peppermint for the green dye and vanilla for red)
* tub or bucket of water
* various kitchen utensils

We put our tub on the girls little table so it was easier to reach, then Bubble helped me to empty a can of shaving foam into it (this was most exciting judging by the squeals :-D).
We added a few drops of food colouring and essence to enhance the play experience (festive red and green of course!).
Love playing with shaving foam. We play with it in the bathtub all the time...the kids have a blast and my tub gets cleaned! Looks like your girls had fun!
ReplyDeleteMmmm I love the smell of shaving cream. This looks like so much fun! We will be doing shaving cream in our sand and water table in a few weeks. I love the idea of the whisk and the food coloring! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun sensory play... definately need to try it in a tub before a bath,is one shaving cream more gental then others?
